For Cameron’s The Abyss, George worked as a credited sculptor at Steve Johnson’s XFX, Inc. — the shop that designed and built the NTIs (Non-Terrestrial Intelligences). His sculpts gave the aliens their fluid, organic lines, which XFX cast in translucent urethanes and lit from inside with fiber-optic rigs. The pale glow used for this site’s focus rings and this page’s accent is theirs.
