Space Truckers wanted its cyborg army to look like a Hajime Sorayama illustration come to life, sleek and chrome, and George’s shop, S.M.G. Inc., translated the drawings into wearable silver Bio-Mech Warriors. Their segmented armor preserves the illustrator’s polished, erotic-machine silhouette. The materials are undocumented.
The film brought George into a Stuart Gordon picture; Gordon went on to co-write Yuzna’s Progeny, which George also worked on. Beyond the cyborg army, the effects include Captain Macanudo’s (Charles Dance) exposed mechanical chest and the Square Pigs, cube-shaped livestock conceived as a shipping joke. No source assigns each mechanism or prop to a named builder.
